Advancing women’s leadership through global dialogue.
May 14–15, 2026 - Bukhara, Uzbekistan

Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairman of ProGrow International, participated in the Second Asian Women’s Forum 2026, held in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, under the theme “Investment in Women – Foundation of Sustainable Growth: Expanding Political, Economic, Social and Environmental Opportunities for Women.”
The Forum was inaugurated on May 14 by Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, who delivered President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s address to participants. The gathering brought together nearly 300 delegates, including women parliamentarians, government representatives and delegates from international organisations including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
Discussions focused on expanding women’s participation in public leadership and economic activity, while also addressing education, science, innovation, artificial intelligence, social protection and environmental priorities.
Dr. Saluja’s participation reflected the importance of strengthening international engagement and building meaningful relationships between women leaders and institutions committed to inclusive and sustainable development.
The Forum also created valuable opportunities for exchanging perspectives, learning from regional experiences and strengthening cooperation around shared priorities. It concluded with the adoption of the Bukhara Declaration, aimed at advancing women’s participation across education, science, politics, economics and public life.
At ProGrow International, we believe meaningful progress is strengthened through inclusive leadership, purposeful partnerships and global cooperation. We remain committed to supporting platforms that expand opportunities for women and encourage stronger international collaboration.
From connecting women leaders across borders to contributing to conversations on sustainable development, the Second Asian Women’s Forum represented another meaningful step towards leadership, collaboration and collective progress.
